We initially contacted Jeff to talk about selling our home of 25 years in March 2022.  We felt we needed the year to prepare for a major move after living in the same place for that long.  However, Jeff’s first win was to show us how we could sell our house this year and take advantage of the seller’s market we were experiencing.  It felt like too daunting of a task, but Jeff and his team were able to help us with all of the steps to get there, as Jeff kept telling us, “One bite at a time.”  Jeff found the various trades we needed to make the repairs in the home, clean up the landscaping, clean and stage our home and even brought multiple loads of moving boxes to help us get through the packing effort.   When we listed the house, we looked at the listing and thought “this isn’t our house – it’s way too nice!”    It just showed beautifully!!!  And, well, it was way too nice – because Jeff listed and sold the house at more than 10% over our asking price in just 24 hours.  What seemed impossible and simply too overwhelming was a fabulous experience and only happened because of Jeff and the whole Rensch Group.  We are so grateful to them for making it such a successful journey.

As the trustee for my 3 other siblings, I was in charge of selling the home that our dear step-mother had lived in for 37 years.  To complicate the emotional aspect of this sale, I live out of state! After traveling back to Omaha only twice, we were not only able to sell the condo at a surprisingly good price but also able to make all the necessary changes to put it on the market.  This included cleaning, repairs, new flooring, painting, and staging with lighting updates.

All of this could not have happened without the guidance, supervision and support of Jeff Rensch.  His depth of knowledge not only about the market but also about getting a house ready to sell is impressive.  How much should you invest in an older home so that you know the price will accommodate that investment? Who should you use to find the right products?  Who can do the work at a reasonable price? It was daunting not living in Omaha.  Jeff not only gave excellent advice but he was almost instantly available for calls and questions.  Jeff also has a ‘crew’ that he has used over the years and they were unfailingly excellent.  Many thanks also to Kelly for her available back up and support.

The end result was a beautiful home for another family - that was important to us.  And we received a great sale price that made our investment very worthwhile.
