OMAHA – Dodge Cares Inc., a charitable organization which collects and distributes tax-deductible contributions from NP Dodge sales associates, employees and the general public, is proud to announce total distributions of $43,152 to non-profit and charitable organizations in the Omaha metropolitan area. These funds were raised in 2008 from the agents of NP Dodge Real Estate. The largest amount, $17,258, was presented to Mission Omaha Foundation Inc., which is partnering with Group Workcamps Foundation to bring more than 400 adults and teenage volunteers from across the country to the Omaha area June 28 to July 4 to provide home repairs to those in need.

“This faith-based project designed to give teenagers the opportunity to grow closer with God and build healthy relationships while repairing homes for those in need is especially grateful to Dodge Cares for its generosity,” says Mary Rosenthal of Mission Omaha Foundation.

Founded in 2002, Dodge Cares, Inc., is the 501(C)(3) exempt, agent-driven charity of NP Dodge Real Estate. Agents can make contributions to the approved charities and those contributions will be matched by NP Dodge up to $250 per agent per year. The company match also goes to the charity designated by the agent. Dodge Cares, Inc. is run by a board of directors primarily made up of agents. Dodge Cares, Inc. contributes to qualified non-profit organizations in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.

Mission Omaha Foundation is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) public charity that provides to opportunities for Christians to deepen their spiritual awareness by bringing them together with people in need in the Omaha area. Other funds were donated to the American Red Cross, Methodist Hospital Foundation, Omaha Home for Boys, the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots.
